Movies Editorial Review
The Alien vs. Predator/ Alien vs. Predator: Requiem Double Pack DVD has garnered mixed reviews from customers, balancing captivated nostalgia with criticism of the physical product quality. Many fans of the franchise appreciate having both films accessible on one disc, highlighting that they played perfectly when tested on various systems. The audio aspect received positive notes, particularly when experienced through a cinema setup, making for an enjoyable watching experience. However, the physical quality of the DVD case and disc left much to be desired. Users have reported that the packaging feels flimsy and cheap, with some even suggesting it resembled a home-made product. Complaints were noted regarding video quality, particularly about the picture aspect leaving bars on the screen, coupled with sound quality that did not meet the expected standards. Despite these critiques, several customers expressed satisfaction, claiming that for a low price point (approximately £6), the enjoyment of the films compensated for the less-than-stellar product aesthetics. Overall, this DVD set is acknowledged as a valuable addition to genre enthusiasts' collections, although potential buyers are reminded to manage their expectations regarding physical quality. **
