Thrustmaster 2960778 Editorial Review
The Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS joystick has garnered positive attention for its performance, particularly among flight simulation enthusiasts using it with MS Flight Simulator 2020. Users rave about its responsiveness, highlighting that the joystick registers movement instantly, which enhances the overall immersion in flight simulations. The orange base lights up as soon as the joystick is moved, providing immediate feedback that it's actively detecting input, a feature many find beneficial. The joystick's precision is often described as exceptional, with minimal dead zones, setting it apart from competitors in the same price range. Many users appreciate its ergonomic design, particularly noting that it is friendly for smaller hands. However, there are some limitations, such as the inability to change the throttle unit for left-handed use and the design of the throttle being made from harder plastic rather than a softer, rubber-like material. Another cited drawback is the simplistic design of the trigger, which only allows for single-level engagement without multi-function depth. While some users have expressed a desire for rumble or force feedback capabilities, most believe that the joystick's features are more than adequate for their needs. Adjustments may be required for some functionality and durability, particularly concerning the throttle, which has been reported to develop noise issues over time. Nevertheless, the overall Consensus is that with some modifications, the T.16000M FCS is an outstanding value for its performance. In summary, the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS joystick is widely recognized as a robust and reliable choice for flight simulation enthusiasts, combining precision, comfort, and feature-rich design at an affordable price. It is regarded as a must-have for anyone serious about flight simulation. **
