The wheels are made of high-density polyurethane that is sticky, dense, and tough as nails. The feeder runs in both forward and reverse modes, and the speed is adjustable. The feeder can run on 50 Hz frequency. In case an extra set of intermediate gears is needed, they can be obtained as spare parts. The manual shows that the feeder can be mounted on its side to re-saw cedar wood into siding. However, a reviewer reported that the wheels of the feeder slip, requiring a replacement from Western Roller. Another customer said the feeder arrived damaged but the seller, CPO, handled the situation promptly. Nonetheless, many reviewers confirmed the excellent performance of the feeder for a shaper, jointer or a router.
