When left in their sealed packets and stored at temperatures between 60 and 86°F, tablets should remain effective for up to four years. Exposure to heat, humidity, moisture and air will reduce the tablets' effectiveness.Potable Aqua® has no aftertaste; it actually improves the taste and odor of water. One tablet treats 1 quart of water.
