Customers who have used these parallels pointed out the rough machine work and cheap locking screws that easily strip. The sliding surfaces were often noted as low-quality and were not cleaned of debris and shavings during production, resulting in poor sliding action until manually lapped and cleaned. Some customers found that once they put the work in to cleaning and deburring the parallels, they worked fairly well and were within 5 tenths of an inch of true precision. However, for the price, these parallels may be an acceptable buy if true precision is not required.
