The MEGA 2560 R3 Development Module is based on the ATmega2560 microcontroller, offering you 54 digital input/output pins, 16 analog inputs, and 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports).
With 15 of the digital pins capable of PWM output, you have the flexibility to control various devices and create dynamic effects. This development module also includes a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button, providing you with everything you need to get started. Simply connect it to your computer using a USB cable or power it with an AC-DC adapter or battery. Designed as an update to the previous Arduino Mega, this board is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE and shields designed for the Uno and the former Arduino boards.
With a microcontroller clock speed of 16 MHz, 256 KB of flash memory (8 KB used by the bootloader), and 8 KB of SRAM, the MEGA 2560 R3 can handle even the most demanding projects.
