About the Author Simon Kaberry was born in Leeds in December 1948. After schooling elsewhere, he was admitted a solicitor in 1974 and returned to his native city in 1980 where he set up and ran his own legal practice. Events over which you have no control; such determine the path of your life and you can only respond to them as best one can.
