Atlus Games 730865530069 Editorial Review

Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne is a quintessential turn-based JRPG that immerses players in a post-apocalyptic Japan filled with demons, where strategic combat and demon fusion play crucial roles. Players can customize the protagonist by investing in different stats and acquiring skills through Magatama, which adds depth to the gameplay. The game's Press Turn system requires users to exploit opponents' weaknesses, enhancing the challenge. Reviews highlight its dark atmosphere and deep, strategic gameplay, though it comes without voice acting and features a high encounter rate, which may dissuade some players. For newcomers to the series, the lack of Social Links may be noted, but the focus on strategy and difficulty remains a significant draw for fans of the genre.
