This mat is tough enough to withstand hot yoga and made with natural, non-toxic, and eco-friendly materials, including cork from Portugal and natural rubber from Vietnam. The mat is tested for heavy metals and harmful substances and is certified safe for Consumers by the SGS, an international testing and regulatory agency. The mat is not Consistently reviewed for grip, but some users suggest wetting their hands to avoid slipping, especially during the beginning stages of a practice. According to the manufacturer, sweat actually helps with traction. The mat is easy to clean with a spray bottle containing half bottled water and half white distilled vinegar. A few users have reported slipping after using the mat for several months. However, overall, users have reported high levels of satisfaction with the mat's durability and quality. Some users have even used the mat daily for over three years.
