The MXL MT001 Microphone Hard Mount is a specific adapter designed to work with MXL microphones. It may fit other brands, but it is not a universal adapter. Some customers have had to modify the adapter to fit their non-MXL microphones. The adapter does not come with the threaded bottom piece that attaches the microphone to the holder, which has caused frustration for some users. Overall, the build quality of the adapter is not great, with some customers receiving scratched or damaged mounts. However, when properly fitting MXL microphones, the adapter performs well.
