Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS4 is a masterful recreation of the classic 1997 game with beautiful graphics and a new battle system that's more action-focused, but still retains some of the original's turn-based elements. The game follows the mercenary Cloud Strife and eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE as they attempt to stop the megacorporation Shinra from draining the planet's life essence. Fans of the original game will appreciate the updated graphics, expanded storyline, and new gameplay mechanics, while newcomers will enjoy the immersive experience and well-crafted characters. The only downside seems to be the long load times, but this is a minor issue in an otherwise exceptional game.
