The Strangers: Prey at Night is a horror thriller movie that promises fear and scare to its audience. The movie is a sequel of The Strangers and has more of the same genre elements like creepy masks, jump scares, and spine-chilling music. However, the movie fails to live up to its predecessor's expectation and misses the mark with its storyline and execution. Although the first 25 minutes of the movie are intriguing, the picture quality drops significantly and makes the movie impossible to watch. The movie's low-grade production and acting make it seem like a B-movie or a low-budget movie from the 70s. The movie can be a good fit for a family movie night, but it is not suitable for people who prefer more developed storylines.
