The "Data Visualisation: A Handbook for Data Driven Design" provides a comprehensive guide for designers to approach and break down their visualisation task. The book is designed to be used as a reference book or methodology that takes the reader through the preparation and development of their visualisation. Although the content is impressive, customers were disappointed with the print quality. There were complaints about missing pages, half-printed pages, missing page numbers, printing ink smudges, and low-quality graphics. There was also feedback that the book had nothing about actually making data visualizations, no real exercises, and no coding. Rather the book focused on the planning/time management aspect of data visualization design. Despite the drawbacks in production and focus on planning rather than execution, most customers found the book to be highly informative, especially for those who are starting with data visualization for the first time. The book received a positive review from a fellow student and is suitable for anyone wanting to create visualizations with a purpose.
