Coolist Editorial Review
The Coolist CLT18 12Volt/220Volt AC/DC 18 Liter Hot/Cold Auto Refrigerator has garnered mixed feedback from customers who have experienced its performance in various settings. Many users note that the refrigerator is effective when pre-cooled with ice packs, suggesting that its cooling efficiency improves significantly with such preparation. This method has proven ideal for outdoor use, such as at the beach, where it can keep drinks and food cool for several hours without external power. However, several customers highlighted the need for hours of pre-cooling before the product can be utilized effectively. This can pose a disadvantage if immediate cooling is desired. It has been reported that connecting it directly to a power source without preparation results in insufficient cooling performance. While the unit is portable and versatile, functioning on both 12V and 220V, some users recommend avoiding the storage of perishable items like meat, as they may thaw under certain conditions. On the positive side, customers have praised the product's spacious interior and quiet operation, noting that it can function well for temporary food and drink storage, especially when other refrigeration options fail. **
